Prior to law school, she attended the University of Iowa and received a bachelor’s degree in both Social Work and Spanish. During college, Clara worked for a local non-profit that worked closely with the Sudanese and Latino communities in Iowa City, which sparked her interest in immigration law.

In her free time, Clara enjoys writing, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
