Overview

Sam Agostini joined Urso, Liguori & Micklich in October 2023. His practice focuses on franchise law and litigation. Mr. Agostini is involved in the American Bar Association’s Forum on Franchising, where he is a member of the Solo & Small Firm Committee.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Agostini spent four years at a Providence, Rhode Island law firm representing military veterans and their families before the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and the Department of Veterans Affairs. During that time, he consistently produced favorable results for his clients through a commitment to the specific details of each case.

Having grown up in Rhode Island, Mr. Agostini is dedicated to serving the needs of the community. He is a member of the Rhode Island Bar and the Massachusetts Bar. He is also a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association.

Mr. Agostini earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Stonehill College. During law school, he engaged in volunteer work for the Navajo Nation’s Office of the President & Vice President. He also gained valuable experience in Boston College Law School’s Civil Litigation Clinic representing clients in family court and housing court. His studies included training in mediation and negotiation.

While at Boston College Law School, Mr. Agostini served as a judicial extern for the Honorable William P. Robinson III of the Rhode Island Supreme Court and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Lincoln D. Almond of the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island. He also gained beneficial experience participating as a legal intern in litigation matters for a Hartford, Connecticut law firm.
