Overview
Tim Ring has built a thriving practice around banking, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring.
Currently an outside general counsel for banks, investment banks, investment funds, ESOP Trusts, and while serving the needs of general business, Tim guides his clients through operational and legal risk, regulatory matters, corporate and board-level best practices, transactions, and litigation management.
Tim's transactional experience encompasses complex debt and equity finance; and lending transactions for financial institutions; mergers and acquisitions; and ESOP-related advising, planning and leveraging.
As an advisor to distressed companies, Tim has an extensive background in workout and restructuring, including creditors' remedies, purchasing and selling bankruptcy assets, debt modifications, and insolvency advising for directors and officers.
Prior to joining Stinson Leonard Street, Tim held general counsel positions at Castle Peak Capital Advisors, Bank First, Marshall Resolution Group, and MEI Salons.
