Elizabeth devotes significant time giving back to the community by providing pro bono estate planning services to first responders through the Wills for Heroes program; coaching and judging mock trial competitions; and serving on the board of Two Rivers Community Land Trust, a nonprofit providing affordable housing for low- and moderate-income individuals and families in Washington County, Minnesota. Elizabeth has been honored for her pro bono work by receiving the North Star Lawyer Award from the Minnesota State Bar Association every year since 2013 in recognition of providing pro bono services exceeding 50 hours annually.

Elizabeth was selected to the Minnesota Super Lawyers Rising Star list each year from 2012 through 2018, a designation received by no more than 2.5% of the attorneys in Minnesota and has been named a Super Lawyer each year since 2019.
