Kaitlin practices primarily in the areas of estate planning and probate, corporate and business law, banking law, adoption, assisted reproductive technology, and guardianships. It may sound like an odd combination of specialties, but Kaitlin finds the most rewarding part of her practice to be helping clients grow and protect their families and the businesses and farms that support them.

Kaitlin is a regular contributor to Gislason and Hunter 's agricultural law newsletter, Dirt; the banking newsletter; and the family and estate law sections of the firm 's Law Blog. She also frequently presents on estate planning and farm succession issues for both lawyer and non-lawyer audiences.

  • Advised business and farm owners on all aspects of corporate and personal succession planning, including Minnesota’s recent Qualified Farm Property and Small Business estate tax elections
  • Assisted financial institutions in drafting complex credit facilities and forbearance agreements
