Matt Berger is a partner with Gislason & Hunter who focuses his practice on representing farmers and other agricultural businesses, banks and other businesses in all manner of transactions and disputes. Matt regularly represents clients in proceedings, including administrative and regulatory proceedings, civil litigation, and appellate at the township, county, state, and federal levels. Matt also focuses his practice on agricultural law and agribusiness financing, the formation of business entities, and workouts and bankruptcy.
In his corporate & finance law experience, Matt has a successful track record in the formation of business entities and finance restructuring. He has represented buyers, sellers, and lenders in a variety of transactions, including contract preparation, financing issues, restructuring, and regulatory matters.
Matt represents agricultural business in ongoing credit, marketing, production, distribution, environmental food safety, and regulatory concerns/issues.
Matt also represents banks in ongoing credit, loan documentation, and collection matters.
