The law firm of Thomason, Swanson & Zahn, PLLC located in Park Rapids, MN welcomes Attorney, Marjorie J. Austin to the team. Ms. Austin has recently relocated to the Park Rapids community after many years of owning her own law practice in the Twin Cities, MJ Austin Law, PLLC.
Marjorie Austin is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law and has personal and professional experience helping clients establish estate plans. Marjorie loves helping clients with Wills, Trusts, Health Care Directives, and Power of Attorney documents, etc. She also has a special interest in assisting families with a Supplemental Needs Trust for disabled family members.
Along with the practice of law, Marjorie has a passion for music. She has been active throughout her life teaching music in schools, private piano lessons, and many years of church leadership, including director of music, volunteer coordinator, and professional accompanist.
Marjorie joins her daughter and son-in-law, Jenny and Peter, as they embark on ownership of Fields of Joy Farm just outside Park Rapids. Daughter, Jenny was hurt in a snow skiing accident her senior year of high school but has made a productive and energy filled life for herself, showing everyone that a physical disability need not hamper a person – a good life lesson for all.
Marjorie looks forward to meeting new people in our community and enjoying a productive professional relationship with Thomason, Swanson & Zahn, PLLC.
