Chris graduated from St. Olaf College with bachelor’s degrees in political science and philosophy. Following college, he obtained his J.D. summa cum laude from Oklahoma City University School of Law. He was licensed to practice law in Oklahoma in 2010 and practiced at a mid-sized firm in Oklahoma until May 2013, when he began working at RGP Law.
Chris is licensed to practice law in Oklahoma, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, and Alaska. Chris' primary area of practice is civil litigation. He also handles large-loss subrogation cases in the agricultural space, particularly as it relates to product defect claims. Chris represents a wide variety of clients in federal and state courts throughout the upper Midwest. Outside of the office, Chris enjoys fishing, golfing, and spending time with his wife and three children.

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
