Daniel Kastonek - St. Cloud, MN

Dan is a native of Sauk Centre, Minnesota. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota, where he majored in History and spent a summer studying museum curation in Edinburgh, Scotland. Dan graduated from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in 2023. Following graduation, Dan clerked for the Honorable David L. Knutson in Minnesota’s First Judicial District before joining Evenson Decker, P.A.

Dan practices in the areas of estate planning, guardianships, and orders for protection/harassment restraining orders. He strongly advocates for individuals and businesses in the areas of civil litigation, real estate, business formation, and family law. Dan stresses the importance of negotiating settlements to find the best outcomes for his clients but will not hesitate to go to trial and zealously represent their interests. In the areas of guardianships and estate planning, Dan assists clients in making sure their vulnerable loved ones are adequately protected and their assets distributed according to their wishes. He is active in the St. Cloud legal community, including the John E. Simonett American Inn of Court. In his free time, Dan enjoys spending time at the family cabin up north, discovering new music, and reading about ancient and medieval history.
