Hired Attorney 2015-2017Attorney Camp took my money, then never represented me. I sent several emails requesting a refund. I made several phone calls. I never received a refund or communication from him in any way. I requested a record of my money in his trust account, with no response. I made at least 50 attempts to get my information. I ended up having to hire another attorney. Do not hire this attorney He's awful. Do not trust him.

Hired Attorney 2015-2019First, he takes your money, then, you never hear from him again. He doesn't take calls, seldom answers emails, and, just overall, does not communicate. His staff has no clue what is going on. He is late to court, and, in once case, was a no show, which resulted in the other party winning. He is very disorganized and will ask to send him papers he already has. He has no memory of what he talked to a person about. He has a PI in his office that talks to clients. This PI also eavesdrops on conversations. He discussed a case with someone in the open without permission of the client. He pitted my child and me against each other by telling one the other said something they didn't . He keeps the contract, then refuses to give a copy. He has actually had his receptionist meet with the client. He does not seem like he is on your side. Worse, he fails to tell you when the trial is over. He leaves you hanging, then he lies about it. If you have him hired, get rid of him. If someone suggests you use him, run! All he will do is tell you to plea.

Hired Attorney 2009-2019I would not recommend this law firm to anyone.Kevin do not do his job.He talk people into taking guilt plead even when they tell him that their innocent. He promise to file a complaint to bring them back to court, but never do.Once you call the office his assistant answer the phone and say he’s in court all day..Kevin was paid in full, but my family member remains in prison 9+ years later. Please do not waste your money and time at this law firm.Their all about taking people money without justice.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
