Overview
Paul was born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1964 and moved with his family to Jackson, Mississippi where has lived to this day. After graduating high school, he obtained his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi in 1987. He later graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1990. He has practiced his entire career in Jackson, Mississippi.
After graduating from law school, Paul started his practice of law with a large defense firm in 1990. While his practice there was varied, he concentrated his practice in the areas of motor vehicle wrecks, bad faith and insurance coverage. After spending ten years with the large defense firm, he left his position as a director with the firm and founded the Law Office of Paul Ott, P.A. While on his own, he represented both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury cases and insurance disputes. Much of his practice consisted of claims involving car wrecks, uninsured motorist coverage and bad faith.
Since becoming a part of Morgan & Morgan, PLLC, he has concentrated his practice in motor vehicle wrecks, including 18 wheelers, automobile and motorcycle wrecks.
