Overview
Kevin, a partner since 1987, graduated with a B.S. from South Dakota State University. He received his Law Degree from the University of Missouri in 1981. Kevin was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1981 and the South Dakota Bar in 1983. He is also admitted to practice before all Federal Courts in Missouri, the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Kevin began his legal career after graduation as a law clerk to the Honorable John K. Regan in the United States District Court in St. Louis. He worked for a short time at Brown, James & Rabbitt in St. Louis before moving his practice to Jefferson County where he partnered with former Missouri Governor Jay Nixon. Kevin has actively practiced in Jefferson County for the past 30 years trying numerous civil and criminal jury trials. Kevin focuses his practice on personal injury, wrongful death claims, mass torts and all types of litigation both civil and criminal.
Kevin is a member of the Missouri Bar, Jefferson County Bar, State Bar of South Dakota, American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and the National Association and Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
Kevin has previously served on the Board of Directors for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri and as Chairman of the Missouri Lottery Commission. He is past President of the Jefferson County Bar Association and Past President of the Hillsboro School Board, having served on that Board for 14 years. Kevin is currently serving as the Vice-Chairman of the Missouri State Fair Commission and remains active in many local boards and organizations.
