Attorney Information
Overview
Taylor DeFoor was drawn to the practice of law through an unexpected intersection of interests. As a pre-med and biology major in college, she developed a strong foundation in science and medicine. Personal injury law allowed her to bridge that background with a career advocating for people navigating complex medical issues after serious injuries.
Before joining DM Injury Law, Taylor distinguished herself at Aspirion, where she was the #1 attorney for revenue generated for clients four months in a row. Taylor understands that clients often come to her during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. She makes it a priority to ensure they feel heard, supported, and confident, while also providing clear, practical guidance every step of the way.
Originally from Overland Park, Taylor attended Blue Valley North High School, earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas, and received her law degree from Washburn University.
Outside the office, she enjoys baking, traveling, cheering on the Razorbacks, Royals, and Chiefs, and spending time with her goldendoodle, Cleo. She also remains active in the Kansas City community, volunteering with organizations such as Ronald McDonald House, Operation Breakthrough, and Wayside Waifs.
