Hired Attorney 2022-2023Iam starting my second case with Mrs.Fox and couldn’t feel more safe and secure knowing that she has my families best interest in mind. It gives me a piece of mind that I haven’t had in quite some time.

Hired Attorney 2019-2020She acts all ready at first then u pay. After that u cant get any phone calls back at all. We were told to get witnesses for my daughters case and were never spoken to in court. At the beginning we was told our type of case had a price and they figured that is what it could be done for. We told her we dont care about the money we just wanted something fair for our grandchild. Last day of court nothing was satisfied like she said was going to be. Dont know if they are just to busy or what but I'm still waiting on an email response from 3 weeks ago. They probly have used up all the retainer and are done even though they were told money was no big deal and we have even went 1000 over the retainer . I would not recommend for a civil family case at all

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
