Overview
I have been Practicing law since 1987. Admitted to the State of Missouri, the Eastern District of Missouri Federal District Court and Bankruptcy Court, Bankruptcy Appellate Panel and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals.
My experience includes having a general practice of law covering many different areas of law throughout my career. My cases included litigation, trials and jury trials. I also handled contract reviews, contract negotiation and creation. I facilitated various transactions for both people and companies.
Presently my focus is on real estate law, both litigation and transaction work, by representing both buyers and sellers, home owners and construction companies, property disputes, boundary disputes, title disputes and many other issues. I also help people with their estate planning, drafting wills and trusts, guiding them through the probate court when someone dies, I provide a variety of services related to business law, I represent landlords and homeowners' associations, and deal with general civil litigation matters.
I am an affiliate attorney with (ADF) Alliance Defending Freedom; listed attorney with (USCCA) United States Concealed Carry Association; and a member of (CLS) Christian Legal Society.
My Undergraduate work was at University of Missouri in St. Louis. My major was in Administration of Justice with minors in Philosophy and Psychology.
I Attended Washington University School of Law. While there I participated in several legal clinics, internships and law clerking jobs.
I am active in my church at Central Presbyterian Church. I participate in and teach Bible studies.
I am a member of The Gideons International. Over the past 120 years we have distributed 2.5 billion Bibles and Testaments around the world.
I foster dogs for American Eskimo Rescue of St. Louis.
I am on the board with MRRA Meramec River Recreation Association. We monitor activity in the Meramec Greenway and give voice to citizens, businesses, local governments and ngo's.
I am on the board with Gateway National Day of Prayer. First Thursday in May every year.
I volunteer for Missouri Stream Teams and Open Space Council in cleaning and monitoring the quality of streams.
