    Hired Law firm 2015-2022
The worst law firm ever. Jessie Carney does not answer emails or calls. They don't notify u on the case. They are not professional about anything I've been dealing with this for 6 years. I would never recommend Them to anyone. All they do is give u the run around and that's crazy.

    Hired Law firm 2018-2021
I would not hire this firm again. I am part of a class action suit and was supposed to receive payment back in June 2021. Near the end of May I received an email stating it would not be paid out before October 2021. I've recently applied for a settlement loan, which was approved, but I can not get anyone from the firm to return an email or phone call and nobody is available to speak to me. When I tell them what I'm calling for, it's very obvious that I'm being ignored by the persons who would take care of that for me. The ONLY person I have EVER spoken with would be a receptionist that answers their phones. It's very frustrating because I wouldn't have asked for one if I didn't need it very badly. So bad, I'm willing to pay the interest rates. I'm not being given the option to make that choice on my own. They want to 'protect my funds'... Do not think that when you hire this firm that they work for YOU, couldn't be more untrue.

When viewing a listing, consider the state advertising restrictions to which lawyers and law firms must adhere, as well as our FindLaw.com Legal Directory disclaimer. Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
