Overview
Mr. Aroesty joined OnderLaw in 2022 following more than 30 years’ experience representing countless plaintiffs in personal injury cases, including asbestos-related cancer claims, dangerous pharmaceuticals, defective medical devices and other individual and mass tort claims. He is outstanding among his peers in conducting depositions, arguing motions and negotiating settlements.
Steve earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University in upstate New York, where he was a New York State Regents Scholar. He earned his Juris Doctor from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri where he was a recipient of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis Judge Ruddy Scholarship, a champion of the Client Counseling Competition and an elected representative of the Student Bar Association.
Steve’s extensive legal experience includes employment with two major insurance carriers as well as with an insurance defense firm along with commercial collection and banking work. This experience on the defense side of litigation makes him particularly adept at arguing on behalf of personal injury plaintiffs.
Steve is Martindale Hubbell AV Preeminent Rated and has been since 2009.
Steve is licensed to practice in Missouri, Illinois, New York and the District of Columbia, along with Federal Courts in the Southern and Northern Districts of Illinois, the Eastern District of Missouri, along with the Seventh and Eighth Circuits of the U.S. Court of Appeals.
