Testimonials
I was very pleased with the way I was treated. Both Ryan and Deanna were polite whenever I called with questions. I feel that every question I had was answered professionally politely and legally. I was not happy with the lawyers for my employer and mainly because I lived in California for so long, I was surprised at the laws of Nebraska. I was not happy with the results but legally everything was done that could be. Once again, I am pleased with the way you handled my case and I would be happy to recommend you to anyone who wanted a good lawyer.

Ryan was nice enough to take time to answer any and all questions I had. He was available to meet with me personally and to discuss my questions on the telephone. He was very professional. I was very upset and mad and he put me at ease. He cared very much for me as a person and he was truly interested in what was in my best interest. The staff who interacted with me was very helpful. I would recommend Ryan to any family member and all of my friends or any family member's friends in a heart beat. I was very pleased with the outcome of my case.
- Barb
I was injured at work and spoke to a good friend of mine who Ryan had previously represented in a workers' compensation case. Her husband was killed in an auto accident on his way to a doctor appointment. She said he was awesome and to give him a call... Whenever I had questions he was always just a phone call away. He or his paralegal Deanna always got back to me within the day. We also did lots of e-mailing, which was a great way to correspond also. No matter where Ryan was or what he was doing he always got right back to us or had Deanna. Deanna is his paralegal, she was also awesome....If it had not been for Ryan and Deanna and all their hard work in corresponding with doctors, clinics, hospitals and whoever else involved, I would not have won my case. They did a very professional job and couldn't have done it without them....Now that my case is done they are still there for me to talk to, if I have any questions. They are like a part of my family and would recommend them most definitely to anyone. Ryan and Deanna you are Awesome! Number 1 in my book. Love you guys.
- Annette
Even though I was a small case, Ryan treated me as he would anyone; extremely patient and warm. The word Personable is often overused but it best describes him as he listened well and took the time to explain what was going on. He gave me wise guidance on how to approach each situation that was presented to me.
He was also quick to communicate with me when new information about my case came up and tried resolving the case as quickly as he possibly could. If it wasn't for Ryan, the matter would've most likely took twice as long to resolve. I'm so grateful that I had him representing me!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
