She was admitted to practice law in the State of Nebraska in 1988 and has spent half of time working as a Judicial Clerk for Judges and the other half as an Attorney at several Law Firms.

Catherine L. Stegman started off her career as a Judicial Clerk at the Nebraska Supreme Court from 1988 to 1992. In 1992, she moved from the Nebraska Supreme Court to the United States District Court, District of Nebraska working for Magistrate Judges. She spent her time with Magistrate Judges from 1992 to 2011. In 2011, Catherine joined private practice providing compliance and litigation support to insurance industry clients with an emphasis in federal tax litigation. With Sodoro Daly Shomaker PC LLO from 2014 to 2020, her main areas of practice included medical malpractice defense litigation in State and Federal Courts, nursing home defense, Probates and Estates. Sodoro merged with Evans & Dixon, LLC in 2020 where she continued to work in the same practice areas, fine tuning her wisdom.
