Overview
As a parent who has gone through the divorce process herself, Nancy R. Shannon knows first-hand what her clients are going through.

As an attorney, Ms. Shannon stresses to her clients that they should hope for the best, but plan for the worst. If clients want and are able to come to an agreement with the opposing party, she said she is more than willing to assist them. However, it is important to remember that if negotiations break down, both attorney and client need to be prepared to aggressively pursue the case in a trial.
"I always support my clients in their effort to peacefully settle issues, and I always look out for the best interests and help protect them so that if settlement is no longer an option, they can still be in a position to succeed," Ms. Shannon said.
