Garima Jain is a partner in Smith Jain where her practice focuses on divorce, child custody and visitation, Pre-Nuptial and Post Nuptial Agreements, domestic partnership dissolution, cohabitation disputes, mediation, paternity, termination of parental rights, and child support.
Admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 2010, Garima received her Bachelor of Commerce Honors degree in Accounting from Jesus and Mary College, New Delhi, India, in 1999, and her law degree from The University of Richmond, T.C. Williams School of Law in Richmond, Virginia in 2009 where she graduated cum laude. She represented her law school in the world’s largest moot court competition, the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. In law school, she also received the Cali Excellence for the Future Award in Family Law. She also completed law school from Bombay University, Government Law College in India in 2005 where she graduated magna cum laude.
Garima has a passion for family law and has worked in that field exclusively since becoming an attorney. She has litigated cases at trial level, successfully mediated several cases and appeared before the Nevada Supreme and Appellate courts.
Garima connects with her clients on a personal level, but always maintains a professional relationship. She represents every client with a strong sense of advocacy and integrity. She strives to resolve the cases as quickly, inexpensively and painlessly as reasonable under the unique circumstance of each case.
When not practicing law, Garima enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking tall mountains, cooking and running. She is fluent in Hindi.
