Sterling is the founding partner of Kerr Simpson Attorneys at Law, Nevada based law firm focused on representing corporate, real estate and high net worth clients in the Western United States. He is the lead attorney at the firm for complex transactional and business litigation matters. He has developed domestic and international real estate projects, successfully started and sold a Nevada based Trust Company and manages Kerr Simpson Attorneys at Law and its talented attorneys.
Practice Focus
Sterling counsels clients on asset acquisition and sales, business entity formations, corporate governance, joint ventures and the detailed agreements commensurate with client data, services, licensing and general business issues. His strength is solving legal problems for his clients and identifying risks and opportunities. Sterling has vision and experience to guide clients through the maze of regulations without killing the deal.

- Special litigation counsel for major online financial education company overseeing global litigation matters and foreign law firms
- Advises entertainers relocating to Las Vegas for residency appearances and provides asset protection planning and real estate acquisition guidance
- Primary outside counsel for regional traffic control company managing all litigation matters and closely held owners in individual concerns
- Formation and legal management of Cayman based Hedge fund in alternative investment and cryptocurrency space
- Legal representation of Southern Nevada design build company including legal structure, purchase agreements and guidance of State Board of Contractors issues
- Advised banks and other financial institutions on secured transactions and foreclosure matters both residential and commercial including preparation of security instruments and deeds of trust
- Oversight of multi-jurisdictional litigation (State Court, Federal Court and equivalents in Canada) concerning share option agreements and hostile takeover of a multi-national chemical company
