Anthony (“Tony”) L. Abbatangelo, Esq. is a former judge and well-respected attorney at Paul Padda Law that handles both criminal and personal injury cases. A life-long Nevadan, Tony has deep roots in the southern Nevada community. He’s also a second-generation lawyer, having following in the footsteps of his legendary father who was a well-known “old-school” Las Vegas attorney. Although law gets practiced a lot different these days, with all the technological advancements that have occurred in the past several decades, Tony learned invaluable and time-tested negotiation and trial skills from his father that have never gone out of style. Equally important, Tony’s mother, who managed his father’s law firm, taught Tony the importance of treating clients with respect and keeping your word as a lawyer. These are qualities that always stand the test of time. With an engaging personality, Tony is beloved by his clients for his dedication to justice and sense of compassion. For this reason, he’s the first choice for both high-profile clients and everyday people facing legal issues.
When Tony was elected to the judiciary, he was the youngest person in the history of the state of Nevada to ever achieve such an honor. During his tenure on “the bench,” Tony had an opportunity to witness thousands of lawyers of varying degrees and skills practice before him. This gave him tremendous insights into what constitutes good lawyering. As a judge, he also gained tremendous knowledge of the inner workings of the legal and court system. Today, he uses that knowledge and the skills acquired from a distinguished career in the law to the benefit of Paul Padda Law’s clients.

A graduate of Las Vegas’s nationally renowned Bishop Gorman High School, Tony attended the University of San Diego for both undergraduate and law school. He’s licensed to practice law in all federal and state courts in Nevada and is a member of the State Bar of Nevada. When he’s not busy working, Tony enjoys spending time with his lovely wife (a dentist) and cheering on the Vegas Golden Knights.
