When I explained this to my case manager (Bernadette), she went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and prioritized my health over anything else, but at the same time took the necessary steps so that the insurance company would compensate me fairly. Needless to say, she got me policy limits (the best offer you can possibly get). I had my surgery, she was on the phone with my wife at all times to make sure I was ok. It is details like these that make you feel you matter to them. Not everyone will take the time to see how your “unrelated surgery” went. This is only someone that truly cares.
