Daniel Ormsby is a Nevada-licensed attorney and a junior partner with Albright, Stoddard, Warnick & Albright. His practice focuses on civil litigation, business litigation, probate and trust administration, and probate and trust litigation. Daniel represents individuals, businesses, trustees, and beneficiaries in complex disputes and proceedings involving estates and trusts. He has significant trial and courtroom experience and regularly advocates for his clients in Nevada state courts.
Daniel was born in California and spent much of his childhood in Lindon, Utah. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He then attended the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he received a merit-based academic scholarship and earned his Juris Doctor in 2017.
During law school, Daniel interned for the Honorable Judge Kenneth Cory and worked as a law clerk for a firm specializing in estate and probate litigation. While at Boyd, he was a member of the Nevada Law Journal, a member of the Las Vegas Student Chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, and received a C.A.L.I. Award in Employment Discrimination.
Since becoming licensed to practice law in Nevada, Daniel has represented clients in a wide range of civil matters, including business disputes, probate and trust administration matters, and contested probate and trust litigation.
Daniel is married and the father of four children. Outside of his practice, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
