Attorney Information
Overview
Mr. Arnold is a litigator who enjoys an eclectic practice focusing on appeals, construction law, municipal defense, and business/commercial disputes. He defends and prosecutes claims on behalf individuals, businesses, corporations and municipal entities, in both state and federal court. Mr. Arnold seeks to employ creative solutions for his clients and achieve favorable outcomes through settlement, motion practice, and oral advocacy, whether at the trial or appellate level. Over the years, he has litigated an assortment of business/partnership disputes, trade secrets cases, construction defect/NRS 108 matters, and other complex disputes throughout northern and southern Nevada. Mr. Arnold is particularly proud to have represented a number of counties and municipal entities throughout Nevada in various litigation matters, which include the defense of NRS 239/public records cases and assorted constitutional claims.
Mr. Arnold joined Marquis Aurbach following his admission to the State Bar of Nevada, and has been with the firm ever since. He obtained his law degree from George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School in Arlington, Virginia, where he served as a Research Editor for the George Mason Law Review. Prior to going to law school, he worked for a public affairs firm in Washington D.C. Mr. Arnold graduated cum laude from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California, with a B.A. in Government.
Mr. Arnold is a native Texan who grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. When not practicing law, Mr. Arnold can be found cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide football team (and wishing for the glory days of Nick Saban), taking in new shows and restaurants on the Vegas Strip, working on his anemic golf game, and keeping up with the latest in cinema and television. Above all, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their eclectic pack of dogs (which have ranged from a pug on the smaller end, to a Tibetan Mastiff on the larger end).
