    Hired Law firm 2023-2024
retained for Discrimination claim in court. My 2nd claim would be Negotiated out of court. He combined both claims together without a retainer for the 2nd. Claim. Going against what I requested during consultation. Had me sign an ENE Agreement under FALSE PRETENSES, MISLEAD me in believing ENE was for Discrimination claim only. Had me sign an ENE agreement, that he read and said was good, It was not, he LIED, MISSING medical negotiate for and contained a release of all Claims known and Unknown. I had 2 open workers comp claims and the( 2nd claim a Breached Settlement Agreement which i beleived still existed) Total NEGLIGENCE. He LIED In the ENE breifing document, he stated no prior negotiations. He LIED, if I had to give up my job, he would request more money. He never requested a PENNY more. He LIED, said Settlement Agreement was good to sign LIE, MISSING my paid medical, 2 work. Comp claims and my Breach GONE(I thought still existed) pure NEGLIGENCE, TOTAL INCOMPETENCE. Continued to mislead me into believing my employer put the Beach into the Agreement. June 2024, he said it was part of the Agreement all along. After 3mo. asking him to contact the Judge and the attorney's to let them know what has happened, now I know why he never did. He started saying Buyers Remorse. I was offered more 3-1/2 yrs earlier for Discrimination claim only, I agreed to excepted less for the Discrimination claim, NEVER agreed to $0 for a proven Breach. In the ENE brief for weakness of claim he said proving Agreement was Breached another LIE. Co. Was to give a list of jobs, never did, I was to start a job on a certain date started 3mo. later, Thats 2 Breaches. In breifing document he estimated Attroney fees + costs if case goes to trial. He received more than that and case Settled ENE. Received Email: the court filing 3mo. after filed, to use as a reference, didn't need to reference ENE brief for your records BOTH DOCUMENT SENT NEVER SAYING TO READ He called to explain ENE This Attroney was suppose to help me get Justice, instead i was victimized again. No Justice, I have proof of everything above. ZERO STAR

    Consulted Law firm 2022-2023
    Recommends this Law firm
I messaged Mr. Hatfield about setting up a Trust/Will for my new family. I didn’t really understand how it worked, I just knew I needed one. Mr. Hatfield’s Law Firm was friendly and extremely informative. Also very patient because I had a ton of questions about Real Estate/ect. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for solid legal council.

When viewing a listing, consider the state advertising restrictions to which lawyers and law firms must adhere, as well as our FindLaw.com Legal Directory disclaimer. Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
