Overview
Attorney Jennifer V. Abrams is Certified by the State Bar of Nevada as a Family Law Specialist and has been admitted to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). She is one of only sixteen Las Vegas divorce attorneys that has been accepted into this prestigious organization. Previously the Nevada Family Court Judges and Family Law Attorneys have elected attorney Jennifer V. Abrams to the Executive Council of the State Bar of Nevada, Family Law Section.
Ms. Abrams is admitted to practice law in three states, but chooses to practice exclusively in Las Vegas divorce matters. Jennifer Abrams is regarded as both a skilled negotiator and a forceful litigator. As such, she has earned the respect of her opponents as well as the Clark County Family Court Judges that oversee each Las Vegas divorce matter.
Fellow attorneys refer complex and substantial asset divorce cases to The Abrams Law Firm. Attorney Abrams routinely represents other lawyers or their spouses. The opposing party often retains more than one divorce lawyer to represent them against her in Contested Divorce matters.
Attorney Abrams is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Nevada, State Bar of Nevada Family Law Executive Council, Clark County Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, which is formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the State Bar of California, and the Louisiana State Bar (both inactive).
She received her Juris Doctorate degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the Pepperdine University School of Law in California, where she graduated 9th in a class of 255. She was a staff member of the Pepperdine Law Review for two years and has numerous awards and achievements including the American Jurisprudence Bancroft-Whitney Award and the CALI Excellence Award.
Jennifer received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting Theory and Practice, from California State University, Northridge and has passed the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) examination.
