Attorney Information

Overview

Srilata (“Sri”) Shah is a highly experienced and well-respected litigation attorney. Well known to judges and lawyers for her legal acumen and trial skills, Sri is a valued part of the Paul Padda Law team providing clients top-notch representation. She understands that each case is unique and requires the firm to present facts in the most persuasive and favorable light possible for each client. This means thorough preparation, use of the best technology, outstanding written advocacy and doing what it takes to “go the extra mile” to achieve a winning result.

Prior to joining Paul Padda Law, Sri spent several years representing insurance carriers in negligence suits. This experience gave her a deeper understanding of what it takes to put together a strong case that will cause an insurance carrier to properly evaluate its liability and exposure. In addition to her prior work defending general negligence cases, Sri also handled construction defect lawsuits. Having represented some of Nevada’s largest construction companies, Sri gained tremendous experience with complex litigation matters and earned the respect of some of Nevada’s most esteemed judges. When the stakes are high, Sri is the type of lawyer you want on your side.

In addition to her outstanding legal skills, Sri brings a sense of empathy and compassion to each case. Having experienced tragedy in her own life, Sri empathizes with people going through difficult situations because she’s been there herself. It’s this caring attitude plus her outstanding legal skills that have won her the admiration and gratitude of Paul Padda Law’s clients. Sometimes tragedy can strike when least expected. When it happens, you want Sri on your team. Whether you’re someone that’s experienced a car accident, a slip and fall, a catastrophic injury due to another person’s negligence or a homeowner dealing with a construction defect, Sri can help get you the justice you deserve.

Sri received her undergraduate education at Queens College, City University of New York and her law degree from Pace University School of Law. A true New Yorker at heart with the accent, tenacity and fighting spirit to prove it, Sri loves fighting for the proverbial “little guy.” Admitted to practice law in Nevada, California and Illinois, Sri is also active with the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys. In her free time, Sri enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and many friends.
