Thomas A. Whelihan, is the owner and managing member of the Whelihan Law Firm, LLC. Mr. Whelihan has been an active litigator for over 30 years. His practice is focused primarily on disputes involving estates, trusts, guardianships and related litigation, representing beneficiaries and fiduciaries. He also represents litigants in commercial and corporate disputes. Mr. Whelihan has tried cases and conducted hearings in both state and federal court. A significant portion of Mr. Whelihan's practice includes estate and tax planning, probate and estate administration, counseling families, individuals, and business owners in the range of issues surrounding the preservation and transfer of assets during life and upon death. In addition to preparing wills, trust agreements, powers of attorney and health care directives, Mr. Whelihan serves clients in trust and estate administration, probate and tax compliances and preparation.

After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Scranton, Mr. Whelihan earned his law degree from Rutgers University in Camden, New Jersey. He was awarded a Certification in Estate Planning and a Master of Laws in Taxation from Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mr. Whelihan is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Tax and Real Property, Probate Sections, and the Burlington Country Bar Association.
