Ms. Finnerty also previously worked in New York in the fields of bankruptcy and corporate reorganization at the firms of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in the bankruptcy department, Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP in the creditors' rights and bankruptcy department and Latham & Watkins LLP in the corporate restructuring and bankruptcy department.
Catherine Finnerty received two B.A. Degrees cum laude in Political Science and Spanish Literature from Barnard College of Columbia University in 1990 and a J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1996 where she served as a member of the Law Review and received the American Jurisprudence Award for Torts.
Ms. Finnerty is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the American Bankruptcy Institute. She is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association where she currently serves as Secretary of the Solo and Small Firm Section.
Catherine is licensed to practice law in the States of New Jersey and New York and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
