Overview
John O’Boyle joined the firm in 1990, and has been a partner since 1998. He practices extensively in the areas of bankruptcy, state-law insolvency, commercial litigation and commercial transactions. He has efficiently and effectively represented both individual and corporate debtors, as well as bankruptcy trustees, assignees for the benefit of creditors, landlords, commercial lenders, mortgage holders and other interested parties in hundreds of insolvency cases. He has also represented both purchasers and sellers in sales of operating businesses and transfers of commercial paper. He frequently provides pro bono services for needy clients referred by Northeast New Jersey Legal Services, Bergen County Mental Health Clinic, and Essex County Legal Services. Mr. O’Boyle’s volunteer work includes lecturing at local high schools for the New Jersey Bankruptcy Lawyers Foundation’s Financial Literacy Program, and assisting at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish in Roseland, NJ.
