Hired Law firm 2024Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group, specifically the attorney they assigned, Chris, was irresponsibly negligent with my case. My attorney Chris would barely give me the time of day, only talking to me while waiting on line for a dinner reservation or while panting on the treadmill at the gym. We worked together for weeks and weeks, only then, DURING THE FIRST BREAKOUT SESSION WITH THE JUDGE, Chris tells me my goal of seeking sole custody is unreasonable and he would not pursue it. He had already racked thousand of dollars of work pursuing this goal, only to tell me that he would try to get the judge to make my ex allow my son to enter therapy, which she had already agreed to do! Then, I wanted to get visibility to child protective services records opened against my ex, and the judge was so close to giving it to us, and Chris lost the argument to a lawyer who passed the bar about ten minutes before the case, because she had a clearer understanding of the difference between "reasonable" and "necessary." You should not use this firm. They do not care about you, they will not take you seriously, and they will laugh all the way to the bank.
