ALIX R. Ms. Rubin has published on a variety of employment law topics. She is active in various organizations, including Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, where she was named 2003 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year and currently serves on the Board of Trustees. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Wharton Club of New Jersey and served a four-year term on the New Jersey Supreme Court District V-C Ethics Committee.
After graduating magna cum laude from Tufts University, Ms. Rubin pursued a Master of Journalism degree from Temple University. She honed her listening, interviewing and writing skills as a public relations practitioner and journalist before earning a J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Ms. Rubin began her legal career as a general litigator, but soon incorporated employment law into her practice and has focused on it almost exclusively in recent years. She was a litigation associate at two major New Jersey firms, Hannoch Weisman and Lowenstein Sandler PC, and a partner at the New Jersey office of a small New York firm, Entwistle & Cappucci LLP.
