Overview
Regina D. (“Gina”) Poserina is a litigator with over 30 years of experience representing employees and whistleblowers throughout the United States. Gina joined Costello & Silverman in 2025, after more than three decades with small and large employment and whistleblower law firms. Gina built a practice, and a nationwide reputation, for zealous representation of whistleblower employees in multiple states, including Massachusetts, Florida, Michigan, Illinois, the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Gina has represented whistleblowing employees reporting fraud in various areas, including healthcare/Medicare/Medicaid programs, education funding, defense contracting, housing development grants, and IRS and SEC fraud.
Gina is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and admitted to the United States Supreme Court, the Third and Eight U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals, and federal courts in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Middle District of Pennsylvania, and District of New Jersey. In 2000, Gina successfully appealed a case to the United States Supreme Court, which held for the first time that municipalities are liable for damages under the False Claims Act.
Gina is a member of The Anti-Fraud Coalition (TAF), the National Employment Lawyers Association (New Jersey and Eastern District of PA), and the New Jersey Association of Justice. Gina has presented and lectured about whistleblower claims and employee protections at several national conferences.
A retired nurse, Gina is graduate of Villanova University College of Nursing and Temple University Law School. An avid fan of all things Philly and NCAA March Madness, Gina and her husband, residents of South Jersey, are parents to three adult children. She spends her free time traveling, paddling on an award-winning dragon boat team, volunteering in the community, and knitting.
