Hired Attorney 2019-2023I will never recommend him to anyone. Does nothing as an attorney just has you fill out everything barely meets and focuses anything. Has you do all the work for him and then send it. Charges by the hour, email, text messages you name it. I’ve paid him over 35 grand for 6 years and he did not one goddamn thing! It’s really sad and than he had the balls to tell me that my grand total was 11,766 I owed him he would take 40% off of the bill, why? LOL he is not worth it plenty of other good lawyers out there. Do not seek this man ever! He’ll take forever!

Hired Attorney 2017-2019He is the worst lawyer I've ever met. He does nothing but bill. Even when i told him to nothing on my behalf he continued against my wishes and billed me for the time. A creep of the worst kind. At such a sad and traumatic time in my life, my divorce lawyer turned out to be the worst of all, praying on an older woman who was depending on his support and guidance.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
