Aliza began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Albert H. Weeks of the Cheshire County Probate Court in New Hampshire, where she assisted with matters involving guardianships, adoptions, parental rights, estates, and involuntary commitments. She later practiced family law in both New Hampshire and New Jersey, developing a strong foundation in client advocacy and courtroom litigation.

She then served as a prosecutor in northern New Hampshire for nearly seven years, handling hundreds of misdemeanor and felony matters, juvenile cases, probable cause hearings, grand jury proceedings, arraignments, bail hearings, and administrative license suspension matters. During her public service, she graduated from the 251st Part Time New Hampshire Police Academy and earned multiple commendations from the Littleton Police Department for Outstanding and Invaluable Service. She also helped spearhead the creation of the Littleton District Mental Health Court, an initiative designed to reduce recidivism, improve access to treatment, and provide alternatives to incarceration for nonviolent offenders.

After transitioning into private practice, Aliza expanded her litigation experience through workers’ compensation representation, employment law, municipal defense, and insurance defense. Her time defending insured parties and working alongside insurance carriers provides a practical understanding of how insurers assess risk, challenge claims, and attempt to limit payouts. In that role, she reviewed case records, conducted interviews, gathered critical information, and prepared reports and recommendations for family court judges regarding the best interests of children and their long term welfare.
