Alvin Eugene Richards, III, Esq. (Gene) is an Associate at the Williams Law Group and devotes the majority of his litigation to Child Welfare (DCPP) matters. Gene has devoted 100% of his professional practice to family law and related matters, including all aspects of Child Welfare (DCPP) matters, domestic violence, appeals, custody and parenting time, and post-judgment matters. Gene understands that your case is an extremely emotional and difficult time in your life. He treats all of his clients with the utmost professionalism, respect and compassion, while vigorously advocating for his clients’ interests and protecting his clients’ rights.

Prior to joining the Williams Law Group, Gene worked as a solo practitioner for over 5 years in Cumberland County, New Jersey with a focus on family law. Gene received his Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from Penn State Dickinson School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Penn State University where he participated on the mock trial team and was an active member of Public Interest Law Fund (PILF). During law school, Gene discovered his passion for family law while interning at the Centre County Court of Common Pleas for the Honorable Judge Pamela Ruest and Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Gene prides himself on strongly advocating for parental rights and the best interests of children. His honest and straight-forward approach with clients allows him to create a logical and sound plan for every case, no matter how complex the matter may seem. He strives to achieve the best results for his clients in each and every case, standing by their side during some of the most difficult situations they will face.
