Overview
Steve Byoun has been an attorney practicing personal injury law for more than twenty years, both in New Jersey and New York. He was admitted to practice law in 2000, after graduating from Pace Law School in White Plains, New York. He also attended Cornell University and graduated from Nyack College. He is admitted to the Bar in New Jersey and New York, and is also admitted to practice law in the federal Courts of New Jersey and New York, as well as the United States Court of Appeals in the Third Circuit. He has handled thousands of personal injury cases over his career, from the initial claim through to Trial. He also worked as an insurance defense attorney for over a decade and was a partner at a mid-sized New York insurance defense firm, before coming to Fusco & Macaluso Attorneys at Law to work as a personal injury attorney. As such, he has intimate professional experience and knowledge as to how the insurance companies operate. A few years ago, he was able to obtain a $2.85 million dollar settlement for the family of an excavator operator, who unfortunately passed away in a tragic construction accident. He has been married for over twenty years and has two teenage children, and enjoys watching New York Mets baseball games in person, playing golf, and listening and playing music on his Roland synthesizer with his son, who plays electric guitar.
