Scott M. Wilhelm practices law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania where he specializes in criminal defense, civil litigation, personal injury, bankruptcy, land use and real estate law. He is graduate of Phillipsburg High School, Moravian College (magna cum laude) and Villanova University School of Law. Upon graduation, he served a one-year clerkship for the Honorable John F. Kingfield, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Warren County. He has engaged in the private practice of law and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Court of the District of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and all Courts in the State of New Jersey and in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He has tried fourteen criminal felony cases, including homicide, to jury verdict. He has represented thousands of clients in his areas of practice and regularly appears before petit juries, judges, arbitrators and mediators. Scott has represented thousands of indigent defendants in New Jersey municipal courts where he is recognized by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a certified attorney. He actively participates in continuing legal education including being a presenter. He currently represents two municipal Land Use Boards, serves as an arbitrator for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Northampton County Court of Common Pleas and is an active participant is bar association activities and is a past president of the Warren County Bar Association and Hunterdon County Bar Association. Scott is involved in his community and is an elected representative in his hometown. Scott has been recognized in New Jersey as a “Super Lawyer.” With nearly 30 years of experience, Scott believes that he has the work ethic, experience and legal acumen to continue to be a zealous advocate for his clients.
