Ms. Jones graduated magna cum laude from the Honors School at Monmouth University, with a Bachelor of Arts In Communication. During undergrad, Ms. Jones engaged in an array of New Jersey volunteer and outreach concerning climate justice and environmental law. That experience, and the help from wonderful mentors, inspired her to pursue a legal career. Ms. Jones then attended law school at Seton Hall University School of Law.
While in law school, Ms. Jones served as a judicial Intern for the Honorable Naazneen B. Khan in Essex County’s Family Division. In this role, She obtained valuable court experience through the observation of hearings and management of cases on the docket. Ms. Jones then joined the team at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C., as a law clerk in the firm’s Newark office, where she discovered the captivating practice of employment litigation.
Additionally, during law school, Ms. Jones served on the executive board as Senior Comments Editor for the Seton Hall Law Journal of Legislation and Public Policy, Vol. 48. In this position, Ms. Jones oversaw the Journal’s Comment writing and publishing process. Ms. Jones authored her Comment exploring the legal ramifications of southern border restrictions on LGBTQ+ asylum seekers, which was chosen for publication within Vol. 48. Finally, Ms. Jones served as a student attorney at the Center for Social Justice Immigrants’ Rights/International Human Rights Clinic, where she helped asylum seekers and refugees fight for citizenship within the U.S.
After graduating from Seton Hall Law, Ms. Jones joined the McOmber McOmber & Luber team as an associate in the Newark office.
