Melanie C. Merchant - Red Bank, NJ

Melanie C. Merchant, Esq., joined Asterita & Associates as an associate attorney in 2025, and primarily handles wills, trusts & estate planning and probate & administration matters. Prior to joining the firm, Melanie worked as an associate attorney for several New Jersey based law firms, ultimately focusing on estate administration and probate matters; wills, trusts and estate planning; and residential real estate transactions. She is committed to providing excellent service to our clients in those areas.

Melanie C. Merchant is a graduate of Monmouth University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She received her Juris Doctor with honors from Roger Williams University School of Law. Following Law School, Melanie served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Steven F. Nemeth, J.S.C. of the Superior Court of New Jersey in Ocean County.

Melanie is admitted to practice law before the Courts of the State of New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
