I graduated from law school in my native Poland before immigrating to America and earning my law degree in the U.S. from the Rutgers-Newark School of Law, graduating in 2004. My career has been primarily focused on assisting individuals with family law matters, including a seven-year stint at a prominent Toms River law firm before I started my own practice.

My approach to family law has been greatly influenced by my own experiences as a parent and someone who has gone through a divorce. I know firsthand the concerns and the uncertainty that arise when critical issues such as child custody, child support and other matters need to be resolved.

My own experiences in divorce and parenting are a big reason why practicing family law is more than just a job to me. It provides me an opportunity to listen carefully to my clients' goals and help them make sense of a complex legal process while ensuring that they land in the best possible situation to continue their lives.

For me, practicing family law is not about "winning" or "losing" battles for my clients. It's not about "giving in" and it's certainly not about "giving up." It's about resolving issues, finding workable compromises whenever possible and protecting my clients' rights in court when necessary. Mostly, it's about helping my clients land on their feet and get on with the rest of their lives.

I also assist individuals with the legal aspects of purchases and sales of residential real estate, as well as civil litigation matters such as contract disputes for small businesses. And while I do not practice complex immigration law, my experience emigrating to the U.S. allows me to help individuals navigate many of the legal aspects of the immigration process.
