Marc S. Galella - Toms River, NJ

Marc S. Galella, Esquire, has resided in Toms River since 1959. Marc has been associated with R.C. Shea & Associates since June 2000. His practice deals mainly with Elder Law, Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Business Law, Municipal Court Practice and Land Use.

Marc graduated from St. Joseph High School (now Monsignor Donovan High School) in Toms River. Marc obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1977 from Seton Hall University, in South Orange, New Jersey. Marc graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law School, Newark, New Jersey with a Juris Doctorate in 1980. After graduating law school, Marc served as a Judicial Clerk to the eight Judges sitting in Superior Court Ocean County in 1980-1981. He served as Executive Assistant to the Director of the Division of Motor Vehicles in Trenton from 1982-1986. From 1986 through June 2000, Marc was associated with the law firm of Lomell, Muccifori, Adler, Ravaschiere, Amabile and Pehlivanian, in Toms River.

Marc is admitted to the New Jersey Bar and has been admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey since 1980. Marc is a member of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association and the Ocean County Bar Association.

Marc is actively involved in community service in Toms River and Ocean County, serving as a member of the Kiwanis Club of Toms River, the Italian American Cultural Society of Ocean County. He joined Kiwanis in 1990 and has served a President of the Club in 1996-1997 and as Lieutenant Governor for Division Four in 2005-2006. Marc is currently the Chair of the Scholarship Committee. He has been President of the Italian American Cultural Society from 2001-2005 and 2008 to the present time and has chaired many committees for that organization. He was former Trustee and Legal Counsel for the United Italian American Clubs of Ocean County. Marc was also a Past Director of the American Heart Association.

Marc was honored as Man of Year by the Italian American Cultural Society in 2005. Marc is married to the former Joanne Muccifori and has one child, Katie Lynn.
