Attorney Information

Overview

I was born in and raised on Florida’s central Gulf Coast. I have three siblings. My father was an accountant, and my mother was a florist. My parents always taught me to stand up for the little guy, leading to my life goal of becoming an attorney to do just that.

I graduated from Florida State University a year early with my Bachelor of Science in Political Science. While at Florida State, I interned at the State Capitol and was on the mock trial team. During the pandemic, I took a gap year to spend time with family and study for the law school admissions test. After the pandemic subsided, I attended Indiana University Maurer School of Law.

While at Maurer, my internships focused on helping those who had to fight uphill battles. My first major internship was with Indiana Student Legal Services, where I helped many students stand up to landlords when their security deposits were wrongfully kept or if their apartments were uninhabitable.

After Student Legal Services, I joined the Indiana Department of Child Services, first as an intern and later as a local office attorney. At DCS, my passion to fight for the wrongfully hurt took off. I spend almost every day in court fighting to protect children from neglect and abuse.

Near the end of my time at DCS, I married my beautiful (and infinitely patient) wife, Sheyla. She and I hope to have kids and grow a family soon. My position at DCS would make it difficult to raise my children while also seeing what I do every day. While I found great fulfillment at DCS, my time had come to move on.

My passion to fight for the wrongfully hurt continues at Parnall Law Firm, LLC. During my interview, Parnall felt familiar, like a friend or even a family member. I later learned that this feeling came from Parnall’s commitment to teamwork, talent, truth, tenacity, triumph, and, most importantly, the mission to fight for justice for the wrongfully hurt. Parnall is now a second home for me, where I am excited to work and fight for our clients every single day.
