Lauren Joseph Wolongevicz is an experienced appellate attorney representing clients in civil, criminal, and family law appeals. She is licensed in New Mexico and Massachusetts and represents clients in appellate matters before the New Mexico Court of Appeals and the New Mexico Supreme Court.
Lauren has served as attorney of record in more than 90 appeals before the New Mexico appellate courts, including matters before both the New Mexico Court of Appeals and the New Mexico Supreme Court. Earlier in her career, she served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Appeals Division of the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General, where she handled complex criminal appellate litigation on behalf of the State.
Lauren also served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Linda M. Vanzi of the New Mexico Court of Appeals, where she worked closely with the court on the review and resolution of appellate cases. This experience provides her with a deep understanding of how appellate courts analyze records, evaluate legal arguments, and decide cases.
