Overview

Evan is a cum laude graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Law, class of 2012 and received the Excellence in Criminal Law Award from the faculty for his graduating class. He has extensive experience practicing both criminal and civil law. Evan has successfully conducted numerous jury and bench trials. Prior to joining The Law Firm of David C. Chavez, Evan worked for plaintiffs in personal injury cases for the past two years and enjoys advocating for his clients. Evan is an experienced trial lawyer who has recovered substantial awards for his clients with high approval ratings.

Prior to attending law school Evan was an award-winning broadcast journalist with National Public Radio Affiliate KRWG in Las Cruces. Some of Evan's work regarding Spaceport America and the 2008 Presidential Election aired nationally. When he is not working hard for his clients he enjoys playing music, fly fishing, and time with his dog Ollie.
