Consulted Law firm 2021-2023I would recommend anybody no matter how desperate the situation do not get involved with Brent Starling and Associates Property Management along with his partner Jerald Nenetz likely not coincidentally as a landlord tenant attorney focusing on landlord rights. She would like to pay your rent they will violate you in every way possible until they find some grounds to get a court date to try to evict you you have DSS vouchers for Section 8 you are who they want supposed to be guaranteed a check from the state animal cell because you can't stand up for yourself make the roaches stop, or enforce any of the clauses of your lease, You're rendered powerless because if you press too hard they will evict you too, you just won't have it assets that I do defend against it. The most disgusting offensive and disturbing aspect is that they know I have sole custody of my ten-year-old daughter that happened while I was living here when her mother drove away in the middle of the night never came back. They're doing this anyway even though they managed to get a court date 2 and a half weeks away they still felt the need to illegally turn off the electricity on Friday at 5 w a 10 year old in here. And electricity remains out 6 days later These are the lowest of the low it is a scam perpetrated by a property manager and his business partner a landlord tenant attorney specializing in tenants and I still get mail from six different people that they evicted prior to arriving here

Consulted Law firm 2021-2022Hi my name is Emily and I'm 10 and I'm scared of Jerrold Nemetz and his business partner & property manager Brent Sterling. They have bullied and threatened and yelled at my father the only family member I have since my mom left 6 months ago and even though my dad tries to pay every month, they stopped accepting the rent because he could not drive it to Amityville anymore without risking his own safety and ability to take care of me he's the only one I have left. If you have money do not rent from these two and if you have a voucher or Section 8 you think you got lucky when you find somebody with multiple apartments that prefers that type of payment. You didn't, stick the the complexes do not be fooled they want that so that they can not do what they're legally required provide you with a safe, habitable place. They also tricked an 8 year old little girl into believing that she was allowed to have a kitten when my dad asked before he gave a deposit a month before, but then refused to cross that I off of the lease so that we could be thrown out at any time because I have the kitten that they said I could. I feel like I'm risking everything my dad has worked for. Along with feeling like im the reason why my mom left and doesn't come back and like everybody in school is laughing at me in their heads, because I'm the new girl again. The difference is that I know that what's going on with this boy are and property manager is real. Jerold Nemetz and Brent Sterling I know, you know about me and the details of my situation, and you're the type of grownups I never want to meet or be.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
