James J. Accardi - Bay Shore, NY

James Accardi is a Partner at McIntyre, Donohue, Accard, Salmonson & Riordan, LLP, where he manages all aspects of Workers’ Compensation claims from intake through appeals. Known for his direct approach and effective negotiation skills, James is committed to delivering maximum compensation for his clients. He joined the firm in 2000 and became a Partner in 2004.

A graduate of Hofstra University and Ohio Northern University School of Law, James began his legal career in general practice, focusing on trusts & estates, family law, and criminal defense. He later spent six years representing both claimants and insurance carriers in Workers’ Compensation cases, giving him a broad perspective that informs his current practice.

James is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. He takes a straightforward, honest approach to client relationships, emphasizing transparency and practical results. He values meeting new clients and guiding them through difficult legal processes with clarity and integrity.

Outside of the office, James enjoys hunting, golfing, and supporting his children’s sporting events. He lives in Suffolk County with his wife and two children.
