Lisa Salmonson is a Senior Associate at McIntyre, Donohue, Accardi, Salmonson & Riordan, LLP, bringing over 34 years of experience in New York State Workers’ Compensation law. She represents injured workers across the state, handling all aspects of claims from litigation to settlement with a client-centered, empathetic approach.

Lisa graduated from Muhlenberg College and earned her law degree from St. John’s University School of Law, where she served as Editor of the Journal of Legal Commentary. Prior to practicing law, she was certified to teach Spanish in middle and high schools—an early experience that nurtured her love of languages and helping others.

For Lisa, advocacy is deeply personal. She treats clients like family and fights tirelessly to secure the benefits and medical access they need. She finds the greatest reward in knowing she’s helped someone regain stability during a challenging time.

Lisa is proud to be part of the MDASR, LLP team, where the firm’s values of compassion and commitment align closely with her own. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and exploring her passion for languages. She resides in Suffolk County with her husband, Scott.
